OCD Clean Affiliate Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation as an affiliate in the OCD Clean Affiliate Program (the “Program”). By joining or engaging in the Program, you agree to abide by these Terms.

2. Enrollment & Approval

  • To become an affiliate, you must complete the application and be approved by OCD Clean.

  • Approval is at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to reject any application.

  • You must be 18 years or older and able to enter contracts.

3. Promotional Obligations & Restrictions

  • You agree to promote OCD Clean’s services (house washing, roof washing, siding, driveways, etc.) in a truthful and lawful manner. 

  • You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship (e.g. “I may earn a commission if you book via my link”).

  • You may not use misleading claims, misrepresentations, or false guarantees.

  • You may not bid on OCD Clean’s trademarked terms in paid ads (e.g. “OCD Clean,” “Powell River cleaning”) unless explicitly permitted.

  • You may not use coupon codes or discounts that you do not have permission to distribute.

4. Tracking, Referrals & Commission

  • We will provide you with unique tracking links or codes to identify referrals.

  • A “qualified referral” means a new customer who books and pays for a service via your link/code.

  • Commission rate: [10 % of net revenue].

  • Commissions are calculated on net revenue (gross minus taxes, refunds, discounts, cancellations).

  • If a customer cancels, disputes, or causes a chargeback, the corresponding commission will be voided or deducted.

5. Payment Terms

  • Payment Method: Interac e-Transfer

  • Payment Schedule: Commissions are calculated on the final amount paid by the customer after any discounts, taxes, refunds, or chargebacks. To allow time for possible cancellations or chargebacks, commissions for a given month become payable 30 days after the end of that month.

    For example, services completed and fully paid in January are eligible for payout by the end of February.

6. Termination & Suspension

  • We may suspend or terminate your affiliate status at any time, with or without cause, by giving notice.

  • After termination, you must stop using affiliate links, promotional materials, and cease representing yourself as an affiliate.

  • You will still be entitled to commissions earned prior to termination (subject to refund/chargeback rules), unless otherwise stated.

7. Intellectual Property & Use of Materials

  • We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive license to use our logos, banners, text links, and other marketing materials we provide.

  • You may not alter the materials (beyond resizing) without prior approval.

  • All goodwill from promotions accrues to OCD Clean.

8. Disclaimers, Liability & Warranty

  • We make no guarantees about your earnings or success as an affiliate.

  • We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect, incidental, or special damages arising from your participation.

  • We do not guarantee that tracking is 100% infallible; technical issues beyond our control may affect results.

9. Legal Compliance & Representations

  • You must comply with all applicable laws, including advertising, consumer protection, privacy, and affiliate disclosure laws.

  • You are responsible for any taxes or reporting obligations in your jurisdiction.

  • You represent that any content or claims you make in promotion are legal, non-infringing, and truthful.

10. Changes to the Terms

  • We may modify these Terms at any time.

  • We will notify you of material changes (by email or via dashboard).

  • Continued participation after changes implies your acceptance.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.

  • Any dispute will be subject to the courts in your home jurisdiction (e.g. British Columbia).
