Overview of Services

OCD Clean provides residential and commercial exterior cleaning services, including but not limited to:

• Soft and pressure washing
• Concrete and surface cleaning

1. Customer Responsibilities

Account Information: You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Property Access: You agree to provide safe and unobstructed access to all areas requiring service. Please communicate any access restrictions or special instructions in advance.

Site Preparation: Please ensure work areas are accessible and free of obstacles. For sanitary and safety reasons, please remove any pet waste prior to our arrival, as our equipment and hoses may cross your yard. Pets and children must be kept away from work areas while services are being performed.

Utilities and Sensitive Areas: Please identify any delicate fixtures, loose materials, faulty outlets, exterior electrical components, leaking taps, or other sensitive areas before service begins.

2. Service Execution & Site Conditions

Quality Commitment: We aim to deliver a high standard of service. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, please contact us promptly and we will work to address the concern.

Schedule Changes: Services may need to be rescheduled due to weather, unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you as early as possible if adjustments are necessary.

Damage and Liability: OCD Clean is fully insured. We are not liable for damages resulting from pre-existing conditions, structural issues, hidden defects, or negligence unrelated to our work. A pre-service site inspection, including photographs or video, may be completed before work begins.

Pre-Existing Conditions: Cleaning may reveal wear, defects, deterioration, or damage previously hidden by dirt, mold, algae, staining, or oxidation. OCD Clean is not responsible for conditions that existed prior to service.

Oxidation and Surface Discoloration: Some materials, especially vinyl siding, aluminum, painted surfaces, and older finishes, may contain oxidation, fading, tiger-striping, or uneven coloration caused by age and environmental exposure. Cleaning may reveal these conditions, and OCD Clean is not responsible for oxidation or color variation that becomes visible after cleaning.

Water Intrusion: Exterior cleaning involves the use of water. While appropriate pressure and methods are used, OCD Clean is not responsible for water intrusion caused by faulty seals, aging windows, improperly sealed doors, vents, light fixtures, flashing, cracked caulking, or other pre-existing structural conditions.

Loose Materials and Failing Surfaces: OCD Clean is not responsible for loose paint, oxidized finishes, failing caulking, weakened mortar, deteriorated wood, brittle screens, loose siding, or other worn materials that may be affected by normal cleaning processes.

Stain Removal Limitations: While we strive for the best possible result, not all stains can be fully removed. Permanent or deeply set staining may remain, including but not limited to rust, oil, battery acid, paint, tannins, hard water staining, oxidation, or chemical damage.

Drainage and Gutter Conditions: OCD Clean is not responsible for overflow, backup, or drainage issues caused by clogged, damaged, or improperly functioning gutters, downspouts, drains, or underground drainage systems.

Landscaping and Plant Care: Reasonable precautions are taken to protect plants, grass, and landscaping during service. However, OCD Clean cannot guarantee against damage to vegetation due to pre-existing stress, disease, soil conditions, weather, oversaturation, or sensitivities beyond our control.

Right of Refusal: We reserve the right to refuse, pause, or terminate service at our discretion if site conditions are unsafe, unsuitable, inaccessible, or materially different from what was originally represented.

Service Documentation: OCD Clean may photograph or record work performed for documentation, training, quality control, insurance, or marketing purposes. By using our services, you consent to this practice.

3. Payment Terms

Payment Options: We offer several convenient payment options. No payment is required at the time of receiving your estimate.

Credit Card Payment: The total amount may be pre-authorized on your credit card prior to service. Funds are only captured once the work is completed and you are satisfied with the results.

Affirm Financing: For eligible purchases, you may choose to pay over time through Affirm, which offers monthly payment options shown during checkout.

Interac e-Transfer or Cash: These payment methods may be available upon approval. A 50% deposit is required in advance to secure your appointment, with the remaining balance due once the service is completed.

Pre-Authorization Policy: Credit card payments may be securely pre-authorized prior to service to verify payment availability and protect against non-payment. Authorizations may remain active for up to seven (7) days. If your scheduled service date extends beyond this period, a new authorization may be required.

Minimum Service Charge: To maintain fair and sustainable pricing, a minimum service charge applies to all jobs. Smaller areas or spot cleaning may still be subject to this minimum charge.

Payment Responsibility: Timely payment is required for all services. Failure to provide payment or deposits as agreed may result in service delays, cancellation of appointments, collection efforts, legal action, and any recoverable costs associated with non-payment.

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.

4. Use of Cleaning Solutions & Safety

Cleaning Solutions: OCD Clean uses professional cleaning solutions to remove dirt, mold, mildew, and organic buildup. Products are selected based on the surface type, level of staining, and cleaning requirements.

Sodium Hypochlorite: An industry-standard cleaning solution used for mold, mildew, and heavy organic staining. It is applied responsibly using appropriate dilution and thorough rinsing methods.

Sodium Percarbonate (Oxygen Bleach): An alternative cleaning option that breaks down into oxygen, water, and soda ash, leaving minimal residue and making it generally safer for surrounding plants and soil.

Safety Reminder: Please keep pets and children away from treated areas and active work zones until surfaces are fully dry and service is complete.

5. Termination of Services

OCD Clean reserves the right to terminate services at any time if these Terms of Service are violated or at our sole discretion.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of any revised terms.
